Huge Rummage Sale ~ A HUGE Success!!!

Thanks to AirCanpopy Internet Services in Midlothian and all those who Volunteered and Donated Items for the Rummage Sale held August 3rd & 4th, 2007, we were able to raise nearly $3,500!!!

AirCanopy graciously hosted the Rummage Sale in a suite adjacent to their offices.

Donations of items for the Sale began pouring in weeks in advance. Many volunteers worked tirelessly for hours on end to get things ready. Fliers were distributed and posted at local businesses. Items were cleaned, repaired if necessary, staged and priced all prior to the two-day event. All 2,000+ square feet of space were filled with merchandise for sale!

AirCanopy also generously placed ads in several newspapers and magazines throughout Ellis Co. in addition to placing an ad on Craigs List online.

Doors opened just before 9am on Friday, August 3rd and the people came. And they kept coming! Many even returned to shop a second time during both days of the sale! Shoppers genuinely appreciated being able to shop and browse in Air Conditioned Comfort while outside temperatures soared into the 90's. Many even commented on how organized everything was.

And to anyone who I may have forgotten to mention due to my exhausted state, I apologize and thank you for your help and understanding.
